UK Election 2015: Voting enters final hours

Millions of people have been casting their ballots across the UK as voting enters its final hours. 

Polls close at 22:00 BST with results from the first constituencies expected before midnight and the final result due on Friday afternoon.


 The candidates are as follows:

1. UKIP leader, Nigel Farage.
2. Labour leader, Ed Miliband.
3. Greens leader, Natalie Bennett.
4. SNP leader, Nicola Sturgeon.
5. Conservative leader, David Cameron.
6. Liberal Democrat leader, Nick Clegg and
7. Plaid Cymru's Leanne Wood.
8. Northern Ireland DUP leader Peter Robinson 
9. Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness in Northern Ireland
10. SDLP leader, Alasdair McDonnell.
10. Alliance Party leader, David Ford and
11. Ulster Unionist leader, Mike Nesbitt.

The Fleeting Nature of Time

As I scrolled through the faded photograph, the faces of my former classmates stared back at me - a relic from a time long passed. There was Ms. Sola, our teacher, standing resolute in the center, her stern gaze commanding our rapt attention. And there were the familiar names, each one a thread in the tapestry of my youth: Sharon, Delani, Kola, Hazumo, Gafar, Ibrahim the drummer boy, Moji, Sijibomi, Damilola, Esther, Moses, Bimbo, and of course, my own humble self. Time, that elusive and relentless force, had swept us all along on its inexorable march. The carefree days of Evaton Nursery and Primary School, where knowledge, values, and good morals were imparted, now felt like a lifetime ago. How quickly the years had slipped through our fingers, leaving us changed, molded by the experiences that followed.
