OAU Law Student Killed In Accident
A 200 level law student of Obafemi Awolowo University
(OAU), Ile-Ife identified as Mary Ibitolu died yesterday after she was
knocked down by a school.
According to an eye witness account, the deceased was on the motorcycle when the bus belonging to Muslim Girls Model College, Onibu Eja lost control and hit the motorcycle she was riding on. She sustained severe injuries and died shortly at the hospital.
The incident occurred at the frontage of Osogbo Grammar School along Dada Estate, Osogbo.
A witness account revealed that the bus developed fault and the driver asked some passersby to assist him to push it.
After a little push, the engine of the bus started but the driver subsequently lost control when he matched the break which failed causing the bus to hit the motorcycle.

She is expected to resumed back to school on the 31st of May,2015.
The Estate Divisional Police Station has impounded the bus and the motorcycle.
When contacted the State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) Mrs. Folashade Odoro could not be reached on her mobile to confirm the incident but a senior police officer at Estate Police Station the jurisdiction where the incident occurred who preferred to remain anonymous confirmed the incident.
