APC files six petitions at Ekiti Tribunal
The All Progressives Congress has filed six petitions before the 
Ekiti State Election Petition Tribunal to challenge the results of March
 28 and April 11 National and State House of Assembly elections.
The Petitioner’s lawyer, Mr Ibrahim Olanrewaju, who confirmed this 
to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Thursday said two petitions were filed for 
the Senatorial poll while four were filed in the State House of Assembly
 election.
Olanrewaju said the petitions for the senatorial election was filed
 by the APC  candidates in Ekiti Central  Senatorial District, Amb. 
Gbenga Olofin, and the incumbent Senator representing Ekiti South 
Senatorial District, Senator Tony  Adeniyi, against the victories of Mrs
 Fatimat Raji-Rasaki and Mrs Biodun Olujimi of the Peoples Democratic 
Party, respectively.
The APC is also challenging the victories recorded by 
the candidates of  the Peoples Democratic in Ado I, Ise Orun, 
Ekiti South West I and Oye I State constituencies in the election.
He said the petitions have been submitted to the Tribunal 
secretariat located within the premises of the Ekiti State High Court in
 Ado Ekiti.
