Japan to build 225 classrooms in Oyo

The Japanese International Donor Agency on Tuesday approved the construction of 225 classrooms in Oyo State.

Mr Ninami Naoyuki, the leader of the Japanese delegation, disclosed this during a courtesy call on Governor Abiola Ajimobi in Ibadan.


Naoyuki said the agency was determined to rescue primary schools in the state from infrastructure challenges by creating conducive atmosphere for learning.

“Selected schools in the state will benefit from a total of 225 classrooms with basic furniture and modern facilities,’’ he said.
